Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Leia ("the app," "the service"). By using Leia, you agree to these terms.

1. Beta Program

Leia is currently in beta. The app may contain bugs, experience downtime, or change significantly between versions. By participating in the beta, you acknowledge that the app is provided "as is" and may not function as expected at all times.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Leia. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Leia uses Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In for authentication. We do not store your passwords.

4. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you create within Leia. Your data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud backup, a copy is stored in your iCloud account. We cannot recover data lost due to device loss, damage, or app deletion without a backup.

5. Subscriptions

Leia offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple's App Store. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Cloud Processing (Pro Tier)

When using the Pro tier, your prompts are processed through our relay server and forwarded to third-party AI services (Google Gemini API). By subscribing to Pro, you consent to this processing. Our relay does not store your prompts or responses. Third-party processing is subject to the provider's terms of service.

Leia, including its design and code, is our intellectual property. Your use of the app does not grant you any ownership rights to the app itself.

9. Limitation of Liability

Leia is a productivity tool, not a professional advisor. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on information provided by Leia. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

You may stop using Leia at any time by deleting the app. We may terminate or suspend access to the service at our discretion.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version number and date at the top of this page indicate when they were last revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
